RIDER TRAINING NZ LTD
Is owned and operated by Dawn and Stephen White. We started off back in 2008 with Basic Handling Skills Training and Testing then CBTA once NZTA introduced this to NZ,
Dawn is a NZTA Approved Motorcycle Instructor and holds Instructor ratings for Classes 1,2,3,4,5 and 6. She holds a National Certificate in Driving (Heavy Vehicles), Driver Educator and is a NZQA Workplace Assessor.
She has been riding road motorcycles for over 20 years and before becoming an Instructor was an active member of Kiwibiker.co.nz, organising training nights and motorcycle tours around New Zealand.
She has owned and ridden various types and styles of Motorcycles from the High-Performance Yamaha R1 and Hayabusa to Adventure riding on a DR650 to commuting on a ZXR250A, VFR400 (NC30) or touring on a RF900 or GSX1300BK.
Currently she has a GSXS750 (Work Bike) and a Harley Streetglide for touring.
Steve was often seen doing a lot of the groundwork with BHS training and testing. These days he has taken a step back and is the first person people speak to when they contact us as he is now our Admin guy. He was also very active on Kiwibiker.co.nz but since we started Rider Training, his weekend are usually full.
Steve rides one of our GSXS750 or can be seen out on his Harley Fatbob.
